We're building a directory of minority-owned and other community-based businesses across restaurants, clothing, beauty, services, and more. You'll be able to filter by ownership to shop what matters to you.

Connect Directly

Once listings launch, you'll go straight to each business's own website or contact page and buy from them directly. Your money goes to the business, not a middleman.

A basic listing is free. Our goal is to help businesses reach shoppers who are already looking for them. Later on, businesses can choose to join an optional referral program, with the rate and tracking agreed to up front.

Our Long-Term Goals

As The Rise Market grows, our goal is to reinvest a portion of earnings into resources for small businesses, with a focus on minority-owned and historically overlooked businesses. That may include education, business tools, and small grants, depending on funding. Grant applications are not currently open.

Affiliate Disclosure

The Rise Market plans to offer optional affiliate and referral partnerships as the platform develops. If a link can earn us a commission, we will disclose that relationship. Affiliate participation will not determine eligibility for a basic listing, and paid promotional placements will be clearly labeled.

Get your business featured — free

The Rise Market is building a curated directory with minority-owned businesses at its heart. We welcome community-based businesses of all ownership backgrounds and review every submission before publishing a listing.

Minority ownership is not required to participate.

  • A free basic listing, reviewed before it's published
  • Your name, category, description, city or service area, and a link or contact route, plus an optional photo and shopper deal
  • Optional ownership tags, shown only if you want them
  • No setup fee for a basic listing

Who can apply: independently owned businesses based in Texas, including online sellers and businesses getting ready to open (listed as "Prelaunch"). National chains and franchises aren't included in this first phase.

Our founding business community: we're keeping a record of the businesses that join us in our earliest stages. As The Rise Market grows, we hope to recognize them through things like business spotlights and founder stories. No specific promotional or financial benefits are promised.

💡 How this works: A basic listing is free. As the platform grows, we plan to offer an optional referral program. Any commission rate, qualifying purchases, and tracking will be explained and agreed to before you take part. Optional paid promotions may come later too, and they're never required to keep a basic listing. As we grow, our goal is to preserve a free basic listing option so that limited resources don't keep a business from taking part.
